Easter Crafts Idea - Fabric Patch Egg
I'm sorry that I haven't been able to place pictures on this blog yet, but I'm still working on it. I've been rather busy crafting, and just haven't had a chance to upload them but I promise I will.
I still want to keep this blog updated with fun craft ideas for Easter so hopefully you will enjoy this next craft. I call it "Fabric Patches." This will be great for those of you have extra scraps of fabric laying around.
Materials Needed:
Fabric scraps in spring colors (solid or print)
Styrofoam eggs;
Fabric glue
Ribbon or lace (for trim)
Clear Acrylic spray
Cut fabric scraps into small squares or triangles.
Cover the entire egg in the fabric scraps and be sure to overlap the fabric pieces. This gives it that patchwork look.
Make sure egg is completely dry. Then spray with the clear acrylic spray. Allow to dry again.
Glue on trim in whichever way you like. There is some really pretty trim now so don't just limit yourself to lace.
Now if you want to be able to hang the egg, loop ribbon and glue to egg. Or if you don't want to hang it just place the eggs in a basket. (But I'm sure you've heard of that saying "Don't place all of your eggs in one basket!")
I hope you enjoy!
