This is a super fun craft the girls and I did today. We wet felted around plastic eggs (actually that part was yesterday) and then needle felted on top. Pumpkin is a bit young for needlefelting, so we did that part during her nap. Alybug and Em were so careful and meticulous as they needlefelted on their eggs. This photo doesn't capture the beauty of the eggs. We cut a hole in one egg and used embroidery thread to stitch around the edges. We plan to do that to more eggs and put some small knitted animals and chocolates inside as easter gifts for loved ones.
ETA: I have another post with more of our easter crafts.
